Guillaume Esmiol has been the Executive Director of the Marché du Film – the Festival de Cannes since 2022. Under his leadership, the Marché has strengthened its position as the world’s leading film market, expanded its programs dedicated to film financing and co-production, and established itself as a key platform for innovation in the global film industry. Before assuming this role, he joined the Marché in 2020 as Deputy Director, where he helped develop the market’s activities and strategic initiatives. Prior to his involvement with the Marché, he served as Innovation Director at TF1 Group and Chief Marketing Officer at a startup studio.
