  Dr. Breven Warren passionately believes in the power of the independent filmmakers, storytellers and artists. She is currently working on her second doctorate on independent film finance and success strategies. She has contributed to new technologies in the entertainment industry, including leading blockchain and fintech solutions. She actively operates a mentorship filmmaker program, currently in its 17th year and has a wealth of experience working at prestigious filmmaker organizations including Sundance Institute, Film Independent, AFI and Outfest. She has built film mentorship programs and urban farming initiatives, founded in art and ecology. Breven also serves on film programming teams and juries throughout the year. Breven is a proud PGA Producer and is also honored to be a member of SAG-AFTRA since 1989. Breven’s passion for serving and supporting independent filmmakers, storytellers and artists is grounded in her ongoing efforts to be a more transparent and transformative leader with each opportunity. Breven hopes to add value to independent filmmakers and contribute to their personal success strategies.
